With the Covid-19 pandemic shutting down nearly all programs, organizations and public activities, including Whaling City Rowing's team rows, a group of Gray Buzzards Team members who rowing craft of their own, formed a rowing flotilla (apart from WCR) to row around Butler Light on April 19, 2020. They left during high tide at 6:30 AM and checked off the 196th continuous monthly row around Butler Light, just outside of New Bedford Harbor.
